So step with us into the way back machine of January 2018. John and myself went to Tacoma Washington where a young Kevin Smith was meeting and greeting people at a local comic book shop. A grand time was had by all, we stood in line for a couple of hours joking and talking with the people around us and getting genuinely excited to meet someone we both look up to. We got up to Kevin and he was a delight! a joy to talk with, we were just about the last people and he gave us extra time.

It was great, I showed him our card and told him about our little podcast that could. Of course we told him we wanted him on and that having him on was a bucket list. He liked it expressing his desire to come on our 100th episode and signed his headshot writing "Kenric episode 100" and to tweet that pic to him when we are close and he would cone on our show! NOW, in between this episode and that fortuitous day things have happened. Kevin had a heart attack :( and we were worried for his health and like all of us we shed tears as he went over the experience days later from his hospital room. Time passed, Kevin is/was all over the place, late night appearances, more famous podcasts, and of course weight watchers!

We held true to our endeavors of trying to get Kevin on, We tweeted out the pic multiple time, we've sent open letters and encouraged retweets (which everyone most graciously did) reminding Kevin of our gentlemen's agreement! ALL this being said we know that people are busy and Kevin probably has 1000's of people pulling him but dang man, did you have to like all of our tweets to you and never respond? You're killing us, ANYWAYS we appreciate your work and your self deprecating humor that really endears you to us.
