Lol's first feature credit was on an American independent film for Lance Hammeron Ballast and also the feature, Better Things, which world-premiered at theCannes Film Festival.


Lol also worked on the acclaimed satire Four Lions, the Armenian road movie romance Here, and the Alaskan thriller On the Ice. He also worked on the acclaimed BBC miniseries The Crimson Petal and the White.


Lol recently was the director of photography on the film Hyde Park on Hudson, a story about the love affair between FDR and his distant cousin Margaret "Daisy" Suckley, centered around the weekend in 1939 when the King and Queen of the United Kingdom visited upstate New York.


Lol's most recent work has been in South Africa as the director of photography on the acclaimed biopic, Mandela: The Long Walk to Freedom, about Nelson Mandela's life.
