In part one of my conversation with Cherise, she talks about her path into Ifa, her magical pregnancy and amazing birthing experience.

Cherise, formally known by her pen name Esther Reese, is an accomplished author who enjoys her days deeply immersed in the practices of Ifa, Hoodoo, mediumship, and conscious motherhood.

She is the founder of Mystic Books for Children. There, she crafts enchanting picture books that are designed to reunite readers with their innate power by revealing the magic woven into the fabric of everyday life.

Dubbed as the Publishing Priestess, Cherise also thrives through supporting other writers and mystics in their journey to authorship through small group workshops and private coaching.

In her free time, she finds solace in nature, indulges in crafting handmade treasures, and embraces intentional living as both a person and a parent in the beautiful state of North Carolina.
