A sporting all-rounder, Dave grew up competing in track & field, soccer and water polo, but had never played a game of gridiron before he picked up a ball at an American summer camp and out-punted a recruited college ball player. 

Dave filmed his skills, and sent the tape to 10 major universities, kick-starting his journey that took him from Greenmount to Green Bay, USA.
