Mr. DeCiccio joins the Special Sauce Podcast straight from Providence VA Medical Center as a Research Health Science Specialist. Prior to joining PVAMC, Adam served 6 years in the U.S. Army with the 10th Mountain Division Infantry and deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq. He received his BA, from Johnson & Wales University focusing on Hospitality and Event Planning. He then went on to pursue a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health & Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Salve Regina University and graduated in May 2019. Mr. DeCiccio was nominated and selected as the keynote speaker at Salve’s graduate Commencement Ceremony. Currently, Adam’s research interests include the use of non-invasive & non-medicated therapies for treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Suicidal Thoughts and Behaviors.
