This is part 1 of a 3 part series about making proactive choices in health care. Whether you have a special needs child or not I think this is a really thought provoking conversation on health, medicine, and health care. Sometimes we get so caught in the routine of do this do that from our medical team that we lose sight of the big picture. In these series my goal is to help you look at health from a big picture.

As this series does discuss vaccines and I know this is an emotional hot topic for some, if you are not in a place that you want to have a conversation about health care in this manner, feel free to skip this series and we'll catch you next week when we talk about loneliness and isolation of special needs parenting.

None of this conversation is meant to be taken as medical advice. If you are looking for a doctor who may be more open to some of the suggestions in this episode we suggest reaching out to a chiropractor, naturopathic or functional medicine provider in your area.

Dr. Steven Baker has become known for his stance on vaccines on social media. His aim is to empower parents with the knowledge that censorship is making more and more difficult for you to access. In this episode we dive into a little of his background on as a chiropractor, a dad, and his big picture understanding of health and the human body.

You can find the documentary Vaxxed on many platforms but due to censorship that keeps changing so I'll send you directly to their website!

I used this brand for my son in his tube feeding, and now we add it to his chocolate milk (since the recording of this podcast, he doesn't notice!)

Tomorrow's episode we're going to dive into vaccines a little bit more and we'll answer some questions from ya'll that you submitted before the interview. See ya tomorrow!
