In 2018, the intergovernmental panel on climate change released a report that detailed that unprecedented transformation in every aspect of society was needed to curb the effects of climate change. It gave a timeline of 12 years. We now have 11 yrs. The information in the report has given way to a rise in activism in younger generations, scientists, as well as given momentum to the proposed US legislation The Green New Deal. Its becoming apparent there's an upward trend of considering climate change in the-present and future-decision making practices of societies-and individuals.
But, according to author Naomi Klein, the true required actions to avoid further and greater devastation of climate change isn’t happening rapidly enough…
