Kenneth Harris talks about Lunar Gateway, space technology, and becoming a Nasa engineer. Acknowledged by Forbes Magazine amongst the world’s youngest and most impactful individuals in the field of science, Kenneth Harris is known for delivering thoughtful and dynamic leadership on programs of critical national and international importance. Since the age of 16, Kenneth has been involved in projects at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, totaling seven satellite missions over his 12-year tenure with the Center.  


Kenneth currently serves as a Senior Project Engineer for the Lunar Gateway HERMES Instrument, which will help us send Astronauts back to the moon in the Artemis generation. Working to safely secure the program against both physical and cyber threats. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Kenneth is also an elected official on the Board of Education in Prince George's County Maryland where he represents over 130,000 students. He is also the host of "Elements" on Seeker, striving to educate curious minds around the globe about science.
