Episode 65 marks a couple of firsts for me. It was after my first ever match, on my first ever trip outside the USA, and recorded a live episode for the first time ever. The podcast has allowed me to speak to so many great people over the time it's been running. From former players, to aspiring journalists and everyone in between. Almost everyone has been super supporting over the time, and to have the opportunity to speak to Nick, Clive, and Freddie of The Ugly Inside was truly a pleasure. Freddie and Clive have been on the show before, way back on episode 9 or so, but this was the first time I had ever been able to sit down and just focus on how Nick and Clive got together to produce the early versions of the Ugly Inside and how it's grown over the past 3 years is truly and honor. What started off as something being produced in a living room over 30 years ago has grown into something heard, seen and known all over the world. The Ugly Inside was one of my very first interactions with any fan site or channel and I can't explain to you how influential it was in getting the courage to start this podcast.

The Ugly Inside is available on many different platforms and they are all listed below. I suggest you follow along on the platforms you use and make sure to subscribe to the  YouTube Channel, which will get you access to the FanCams, match previews, opposition previews, predicted 11's and more, along with videos from their partner podcast, The Saints FC Podcast with John Bailey and Tom Parker.

In addition to being able to chat with the guys from the Ugly Inside, I had the pleasure to speak to two long-time members of the London Saints, a group of fans who have worked together to support Saints through the ups and downs for 40 years. From the lower leagues to Europe and Wembley, they have been there and have a number of fantastic stories (most of which are shared off the record only).

The chance to sit down with Robbie and Gary, kinda on the spot for them so special thanks, was not something I was expecting. I have so many questions, and we definitely didn't have a chance to answer them all here, but this was about them and the history of London Saints and what they stand for.
