Chris Hutchings joins me this week to chat about Saints. We look back on how he became a fan, how he began commentating, escorting fans from around the world around St. Mary’s, and working for OPTA. We also discuss the likelihood of Hojbjerg leaving, what that means for the team, Project Restart, football without fans, and more. More than anything, it was just a fantastic opportunity to spend some time learning about Chris and his connection with the club. I’m finding more and more during this COVID19 break that the people who support and work around the club, and their stories, are, at least to me, more interesting, rewarding, and engaging than complaining about a misplaced pass or Cedric’s lack of back-post defending. I hope you enjoy the show. You can get in touch with Chris to talk football, stats, or anything else, @hutchfm on Twitter.
