Ep. 122- Huddersfield. Humbled. Hasenhuttl. With Jay Grant of the Southampton Page

The 2018/2019 Premier League season is over. A 16th place finish, some wins against the top 6, 29 points dropped from winning positions (if my counting is correct), a new coach, a load of players out on loan, 2 executive openings, and a second place trophy for LFC.

Was it successful? I’m not sure I’d call it that, but it’s definitely on something to build on. This week I’m joined Jay Grant (@fataljaay), who owns the partner account to the show, @southamptonpage. Because he was at the match on Sunday, and Sunday was also Mother’s Day here in the US, we recorded on Monday morning, shortly after the club announced the new main sponsorship deal with LD Sports (so that’s fun). We also discuss Saints’ 1-1 draw with Huddersfield on the final day of the season, the looming transfer window and more.
