Despite spending nearly a quarter of his life in hospital, this week's guest Michael Crossland has forged a highly successful career as an inspirational speaker and has shared the stage with the likes of Sir Richard Branson, the Dalai Lama and Tony Robbins. Michael has also represented Australia in his chosen sport, has established a school and orphanage in Haiti and is also a best selling Author.
However, we don't believe there is anything more extraordinary in Michael's life than being a Father to Lachlan (2) after he and his Wife Melissa were told they wouldn't be able to have kids. Michael steps into the arena of vulnerability in a BIG way during this chat, taking us through the highs and lows of his life to date, which parenthood plays an important role in. The Sounding Board Parenting team would also like to send a loving congratulations to Michael and Melissa as they recently announced that they are expecting their second child.
If Michael's story intrigues you, we highly recommend you go and watch the award-winning documentary on his life, by ABC’s Australian Story, which has been viewed by over 4 million people | https://michaelcrossland.com
