First Impressions

The Wild continue to suffocate teams defensively and shut them out with one of the best penalty kills and goaltending tandems in the NHL. That’s led them on an 11-game point streak where they’ve surrendered just 13 goals. Bill Guerin rewarded this effort by bringing in four new players, three of which have made their Minnesota Wild debuts.

On this episode the guys break down the last three games including the stellar goaltending from Filip Gustavsson and Marc-Andre Fleury, the sudden burst in secondary scoring, and their first impressions of newcomers Marcus Johansson, John Klingberg, and Oskar Sundqvist. They also discuss what they know about the Kirill Kaprizov injury and what an absence could mean for a surging Wild team moving forward.
