This episode brings us to the year it all changed! Whilst we still had the very popular wine bars and disco pubs to feel the groove within this Star-date we lived for the night life, From a UK perspective up and down the United Kingdom night clubs dominated the dance landscape from Wigan to the West End the sound of Chicago house set the tempo us to feel free...whilst Soulful Jazzy Flava’s would make a welcomed return 1990 and beyond! this year ironically would reflect a decade before where disco evolved honestly only to become demonised through blatant hijacking by the mainstream to curb its meteoric rise that elevated its popularity threatening the very fabric of the music industry.

Here we are in ten years on and yet again out of the ashes of Disco comes this raw sound that emerged once again from the Hispanic & Black underground only to once again take control... the critics said it just would not last!

Welcome back back to the very definition of dance music 1989 this weeks conclusion to my favourite timeline of music... The Dance Decade.
