In my head I said, "Here she is!"  That's after I noticed the adorable image on the cover on the table just waiting there for me and I'm so glad I was able to spot it right before check out!
Initially, this was a last minute seasonal pick, with Halloween being just around the corner, that I found at the most recent school book fair.  But as it turns out, it's also a bedtime story about a little mummy who is alone in the deep dark woods.
Why is he out there all by himself?
Well, he was playing hide and seek with his Mummy of course but, she is nowhere to be found.  Instead, he comes across a bunch of other creatures who don't scare him all that much.  Except for one.
Curl up under the cozy covers with your kids to find out just what is going on here.
Where's My Mummy (written by Carolyn Crimi and illustrated by John Manders) is a great little story to read aloud before the kids go off to sleep all year round.
