Our Guest today is Jerry Salley, is one of the most recognised and appreciated American country, bluegrass and gospel songwriters legends. Based in Nashville his songs have been recorded by artists like Sir Elton John, Reba McEntire, Wade Hayes, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Travis Tritt among other and has been referred to by Billboard Magazine as "One of Music Row's greatest veteran tunesmiths," and has had over 500 songs recorded (selling in excess of 18 million records worldwide) in his multi-award winning songwriting career.

Salley was named the 2003 SESAC Country Songwriter of the Year, the 2018 IBMA Songwriter of the Year and was a 2019 Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame nominee.

As an artist, Jerry has released 5 solo albums and has performed on numerous stages and shows, including the honour of performing as a soloist many times on the world famous Grand Ole Opry.
