Metaprism define ‘Beauty and the Beast’ with a combination of male and female vocals. Ruthless aggression and soaring melodies. Live and on record, their modern and dynamic sound creates a unique brand of melodic metal.Formed in late 2012, the brainchild of guitarist Ollie Roberts. Together with vocalist Theresa Smith, the pair developed the first songs that would later make up their debut EP. The injection of Jut Tabor’s clean and aggressive vocal style completed the vision.

2015 also saw the band make a return to Bloodstock Open Air Festival for the second year running and perform at Europe’s biggest metal festival, Wacken. It was here that the band claimed 4th place in Wacken’s international ‘Metal Battle’ competition. In the September of the same year they released their debut album, ‘The Human Encryption’. The album’s first official single/video, ‘Reload’, was featured in Metal Hammer, Prog magazine and on Wacken’s 25th anniversary ‘Live at Wacken 2015’ Blu-Ray/DVD/CD.
