In the part 2 episode of their Candyman episode Christin digs into the history of the Cabrini-Green housing projects starting with the Federal Housing Authority's denial of housing loans to African Americans back in the 1940s. Christin goes into how the denial of allowing African Americans to build equity lead to the violent and neglected housing projects of Chicago. Then Christin tells Chris the true murder that inspired Candyman, that of Ruthie Mae McCoy.
