How do you introduce Emma Pooley? She has ten Olympic, World and Commonwealth medals, including becoming the World ITT Champion in 2010. She has six World Cup victories and seven Stage Races wins to her name, not to mention multiple tri and duathlon victories. Not bad for someone who considers themselves a runner at heart! She also has a PhD in geotechnical engineering having graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2005 with a first class degree in Engineering; managing her studies alongside her racing. She's recently discovered the joys of off-road cycling and bike packing which she now combines with running, swimming, bouldering and riding on the road. She is working with the Swiss Cycling Federation running their Fast and Female programme. She's just broken the Women's World Everesting Record and is the creator of the amazing Pocket Porridge snacks. We discuss all of this, plus a whole load more, so sit back and enjoy.
