New Orleans brass band-meets-Mardi Gras Indian outfit Cha Wa radiates the energy of the city’s street culture. Popmatters describes the band as "a grand gumbo of singing, intoxicating rhythms, and deep funk grooves that are impossible to resist.

MY PEOPLE has a release date of  April 2nd, 2021.

Here is the full interview with drummer and bandleader Joe Gelini.  The Mardi Gras is a part of American culture and I am still clueless about history and culture; that is why this interview was so interesting and informative.  Joe makes me feel like I am wasting my time in Bmore and that LIFE is LIVED in New Orleans.
