mike watt!!! what did you do when you found out that your friend died on a sunday afternoon?
that is a song that I wrote called, mike watt, what did you do? years ago. it was a tribute to one of the best short-lived bands of all-time "the minutemen".
during the summer of 2021, I was walking everyday and I found the radio show called "the watt from pedro " and boy am I late to the show, this show as been on the air since may 19, 2001. I am super late. I noticed that he played a john coltrane song at the beginning of each show, so I thought I could chat to him about his interest in coltrane...and instead we chatted about everything.
