There is NO separation between Church and Jazz, especially went it comes to our next guest Shawn Raiford. 21 years ago, Shawn Raiford first played his sax at his grandmother’s church in Sacramento California and he never stopped until the Covig-19 break gave him the time to finally release his first record called, MAN WITH THE HORN. Recorded on his own label and released on August 23, 2020,
MAN WITH A HORN s a blend of smooth jazz, pop, funk, soul and of course gospel. The album is finding an audience and gets a spring reboot...and hopefully a new album cover! LOL!
