Christian was a part of the bulk of my life. He brought happiness to a lot of people through his writing and his music. I’m sad to report that he passed away yesterday morning at a friend’s apartment. There was no secret that we were separated and in the process of a divorce, but now I’m legally a widow, and it is a very weird, multifaceted feeling of grief. What I plan on doing is seeing what the next steps are and taking care of myself. I’m very happy that I have the support of family and friends through this rough time. It definitely would’ve been harder if I was alone. I know I’ll be ok, but it’ll take time. I spoke with his sister, and we are in agreement. We don’t believe he would’ve wanted a service. I have an idea of what to do, and she agrees. If people are interested you can PM me.We plan on putting a notice in the obituaries in MN, VA, and maybe WV. If you would like to pay your respects, we ask that you make a donation to a nonprofit organization that focuses on mental illness and addiction in his name. He’s now at peace with Rufus.
