Invited into the Harvest

In this sermon, we continued The Gospel of John series in John 4:27-42. We looked at how having an encounter with Christ can allow us to put down the things that hinder us from being faithful to share the Gospel with others. The woman at the well had such a transformative heart-changing meeting with Christ that she left the reason she was at the well to go back to those who made her feel like a shame-filled outcast and invite them to ‘come and see’ Christ for themselves. Jesus tells His disciples that they are to enter into the fields to bring in the harvest for God’s Kingdom by making Him known to others and inviting them to having a relationship with Christ.
