FROM THE GOOD WAR TO THE FOREVER WAR

We are joined in Solartopia by the legendary H. BRUCE FRANKLIN whose astonishing career spans time as a navigator in the Strategic Air Command all the way though the core of the anti-war movement and beyond.

A long-time Professor of history at Rutgers University, Bruce has also grown to great prominence dissecting major science fiction including Star Wars and Star Trek (which he favors).

He is author or editor of a score of books, all of them of uniquely diverse interest.

I met Bruce in Paris in 1967 at the height of the Vietnam Peace movement.  He has worked the tugs and docks of New York harbor as a laborer (where he helped pull a mafia corpse out of the water) and the streets of the Bay Area as an anti-war organizer.

It would be hard to invent a more brilliant and fascinating citizen of Solartopia.  Don’t miss this show.
