Subject: Sad Max (2012)
Observers: John Pavlich, Teague Chrystie
Record Date: March 18, 2012, 08:29 PM
Plot Summary: In the wake of a global apocalypse, a famous YouTube personality uses his remaining battery life on his laptop to record his long-procrastinated musical.
Note: VFX artist, Teague Chrystie (Fringe) went off and made himself a kick-ass short film musical. So impressed I was by this delightful, creative and entertaining effort, I asked Teague to join me for this commentary on his work. We discuss DIY makeup, "saving the fish", web video culture and some musical theory. Remember to listen for the preemptive countdown before starting the film on your player, and please check out Teague's film commentary podcast, Down In Front. It's like this but, you know, good.
