Dr Margo Greenwood, who is leading full-time educational and social inclusion research at iNGO Sightsavers and Professor Hannah Kuper, Director of the International Centre for Evidence in Disability at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine discuss the relationship between poverty and disability, the issues faced by disabled people in the global south, why including disability in development goals and processes is important, and how best to do so.
