The Denny Interview

Denny put the art in artistry. It isn’t often that I come across an artist or group of artists who have spent the time to really understand the reasons behind their actions, I mean, for the average music maker or enjoyer we can think through cause and effect, but speaking with 2/3rds of Denny, Alex and Sully, it absolutely blew my mind to hear about the layers, dare I say, the onion, that is Denny. The biggest takeaway from this walk is that all being an artist means is to nurture your nature, the act of making in itself strengthens your creative intuition, vision, and passion. The more you make in ways that are true to who you are, the further you’ll go.This idea, coupled with the pros and cons of the modern digital age is something we all have to navigate in our own way, and hearing how Denny moves about the landscape was absolutely enlightening.
