Previous Episode: A Very Special Freak

There’s no Ezra this week, beloved listeners, so left to their own devices Matty and Helena are choosing to dive into a topic relevant to the films they’ve been watching recently: goopy horror!

Though they start with goopy horror of the Return of the Living Dead and (extremely hilarious) Doom (2005) kind, topics end up going all over the place from interesting years in film, to the shifts in M. Night Shyamalan’s career, to allowing for more flexible film adaptations before going back around to end where they began with Scanners, the Fly, and Crash.

And maybe they are weird themselves for having no threshold for the weird and nasty….but they have the Ezra seal of approval, so they refuse to feel bad about it.
