The end of Disney+'s latest Star Wars show, Ahsoka, left characters with unfinished arcs. Ahsoka and Sabine are trapped on another planet, and Baylon is still searching for a raw power trembling through the force. Baylon is shown standing on the outstretched hand of a mountain-sized sculpture, gazing into the distance. Fans of the Clone Wars recognized the face of the statue as The Father, a force god who controls the balance between his son and daughter. The Son represents the dark side of the force and the Daughter symbolizes the light side.
On this episode of the Smugglers' Galaxy podcast, Glen and Jason revisit the Mortis arc of The Clone Wars in an attempt to theorize where future tales from the Star Wars galaxy might be heading. What role do these force gods play? Their fates seemed wrapped up in The Clone Wars, so how can it expand further?
