Hoop Dreams is an amazing documentary, the only one on our list.  Its very nature lends itself to be less jokey and a little more serious.  Don't worry, there are still some laughs.  But this movie still speaks to us today as much or more than it did when it came out in 1994.  Has society changed much in 26 years?  Is youth sports any better for the kids? Also, we talk about an Angry Ebert, parents wearing underwear, and if Coach Ping knew he was being filmed.  Join us as we watch the 1994 classic, Hoop Dreams.

The Cutting Edge isn't streaming anywhere so borrow it from your local library or go visit any girl from Brad's high school class and borrow their VHS cassette.
