Iron Maiden/Queensryche/Halford Concerts 8/15/00 & 8/20/00

The Slamfest Podcast brings the premier rock concert pregaming experience from the parking lot to the podcasting airwaves. Episode 62 - Brad, Matt and Mike are back together again.  This episode revolves around the Iron Maiden Brave New World Tour they saw in August, 2000 - Matt and Mike saw it at Sandstone Amphitheatre in Bonner Springs, KS and  Brad saw it at the Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI...Queensryche and Halford opened the bill.   After going through Mike's background with Iron Maiden and all of their backgrounds with Queensryche and Halford, they review the shows they saw.  For the Band on the Bill Spotlight, they put Iron Maiden's Brave New World album up against Halford's Resurrection album, both from 2000.  After a Slamfest Tip of the Week, they are faced with a "Which Side are you On?" - Side 1 or Side 2 off of Iron Maiden's third studio album, The Number of the Beast, from 1982.
