About 800 moped heroes and heroines took off at the Saanen airfield in order to conquer three mountain passes on their mopeds. Among the brave ones were actor Beat Schlatter, former top Swiss wrestler Roger Brugger and freestyle motocross champ Mat Rebeaud. Fans lined the whole route, bearing banners and cow bells.
