Chapter One will focus on the ins and outs of starting a new band program at Pieper High School (Comal ISD) in San Antonio, TX. Colton Bean (Assistant Director) and I will talk about the excitement, the triumphs, and yes, the frustrations of starting a new band program. Among many things, we will be there every step of the way as the band plays their first note, takes their first step, and comes together to establish the Pieper Band of Warriors!
