Edward Offenbacher is the current Senior Advisor for International Research Relations at Bank of Israel. Until August 2015 he was the Director of Monetary/Finance Division Research Department at Bank of Israel (and before that Director of Monetary Department – domestic monetary operations). He began his career as an economist at the Federal Reserve Board and served from 1979-1982. He received his PHD from Chicago University.
