The Revs dropped their season finale at Atlanta United FC on Sunday, 3-1, to conclude a turnaround regular season in which they only lost three times since May under new head coach and sporting director Bruce Arena.

Arena called the game a “dress rehearsal” for the forthcoming one-game season as New England prepares to return to the playoffs for the first time in three years. Undecidedly the underdogs, they’ll head back to the Big Peach and face the Five Stripes in less than two weeks.
