Have you heard of PPROM? Preterm premature rupture of the membranes (PPROM) is a pregnancy complication. In this condition, the sac (amniotic membrane) surrounding your baby breaks (ruptures) before week 37 of pregnancy. Once the sac breaks, you have an increased risk for infection. You also have a higher chance of having your baby born early.

Today's guest experienced preterm premature rupture of the membranes and was diagnosed with an incompetent cervix and loss her son. Stacy Patterson has two beautiful daughters after experiencing a preterm birth followed by a NICU stay and a perfect pregnancy she was ready for her son. She became pregnant in November 2019 and lost her son due to PPROM and being diagnosed with an Incompetent Cervix. In today's episode Stacy takes us back on her journey to having her son and the other health complications she experienced after loss.
