What can an individual do to combat systemic racism? We are a little over a year since George Floyd was taken from his family and this Earth by an agent of the state. This episode follows one individual’s personal experience with the Racial Reckoning of 2020 that exploded into mass protests and support for Black Lives Matter and The Movement for Black Lives.

My guest is an ICU physician and pulmonologist who cared for patients suffering Covid19 through the worst of 2020. While Dr. David is exceptional in several ways, I invite you to imagine a world in which his story of personal growth and understanding is unexceptional and instead, rather common.
