5 years after the underwhelming Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Sarah and John Connor received a second chance to stop Judgement Day, but this time on the small screen. Completely ignoring the events of Terminator 3, series creator Josh Friedman gave audiences an experience more akin to the original duology. Receiving some of the highest viewer ratings (at the time) on the Fox channel, this new Terminator show was a smash hit but unceremoniously was canceled after only two seasons.
