Nearly 3 years after Tim Burton scared children and adults alike with his even darker version of Batman, The Lost Boys director Joel Schumacher came on board to take the creative reigns. Casting a new Batman, colorful villains, and finally including Robin, this third installment had a lot to live up to. Achieving success with audiences and breaking box office records, it seemed this new toyetic take was a hit. But 27 years later, audiences and critics have soured on the film.
