Silver Bullets Podcast Episode 7 Sooner Rather than Later

Hosts Shannon Sommers and Chip Minnich get together and do a quick recap of the Indiana game. Shannon thanks the Indiana fans for their "Overrated" chant.

Brooke Pryor from the Daily Oklahoman was kind enough to discuss the Oklahoma Sooners with the guys. She discussed Bob Stoops stepping down, Lincoln Riley taking over and if he had any changes in philosophy he might have. She believes the best option if the big 12 were to implode is having Texas and Oklahoma join the Big Ten.

Brooke and Chip talked about TE Mark Andrews and any matchup problems he might create for the Buckeyes. Does Oklahoma have any running backs like Mixon and Perine or is it a running back by committee. They discussed DL Neville Gallimore a player Ohio State recruited but chose Oklahoma. Also, they talked about and changes in demeanor in Riley since he's the head coach.

Shannon and Brooke then talk about the Sooners defense along with the change from having three down lineman to now having four.

The battle of The Ohio State defensive line against the Oklahoma offensive line. Both are arguably the best two in the nation. Also, Brooke helps clear up the statement that Oklahoma offensive lineman Orlando Brown made about Ohio States defensive line is like Kansas.

After Brooke gives us her thoughts on what could happen Saturday for the game the guys go into their game predictions. Shannon is down two games to Chip but then he goes and picks three different games as Chip. Could there be a big swing seeing Shannon take over the lead or go five games down?
