Grace Inspace labels her music 'protest pop', matching melody to her concerns about the world we live in.  It's a potent idea, one that gets down to the source of what pop actually is, and what it can be used to achieve.  New single 'Off The Grid' is a case in point; utterly beautiful, it borders on the psychedelic with its dappled approach to sound.  Organic and lucid, the vocals actually refer to the ongoing water crisis in California, and the idea that the richest nation on Earth can't provide clean running water to all of its inhabitants.  Not that Grace is standing on a soap box; with her expert word play and playful approach 'Off The Grid' is a softly enticing gem, something we've had on repeat for some time.
