Southern California-based alternative rock band Weathers - lead singer/frontman Cameron Boyer, guitarist Cameron Olsen, bassist Brennan Bates, and dummer Cole Carson - have been consistently creating finely crafted introspective pop songs heavily inspired by the counterculture of the 80s and 90s since forming in 2015. The band makes music that speaks to those among us who tend to forget that, regardless of outward appearances, everyone is struggling with something and that no one is alone. Weathers' story is a tale of growing up, of coming into one's own, and includes themes of depression or anxiety and the often difficult maintenance of mental health.
Career Highlights:
· 2016 single “Happy Pills” was the most added song on alternative radio on its impact date, received the most adds for a new artist in the 2010s, peaked at #21 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart, and has been streamed more than 80M times to date.
· 2018 album Kids in the Night released via RCA Records
· Co-wrote and worked with Tim Pagnotta (Walk The Moon, Neon Trees), Kyle Moorman (P!nk, Andy Grammar, Elle King), and Drew Pearson (Switchfoot, Ke$ha)
· Opened for Cage the Elephant, Jimmy Eat World, Dreamers, Palaye Royale, Badflower, Echosmith and Catfish & The Bottlemen, and played festivals like Lollapalooza, Summerfest, and Firefly.
· Partnerships with mental health organizations Jed Foundation, Hot Topic Foundation, and Mental Health America.
