Last night, as I filled my car’s tires with air and my 12 year old daughter sat in the air conditioned car listening to her music, we witnessed someone experiencing road rage, blaring their horn at someone who failed to turn when the light turned green.


Moments later, as we drove down the road, she asked me which car it was.


And right after that, came the most profound and compassionate words:


“But maybe he was doing that because he needs to rush to the hospital because someone he loves is hurt… Or maybe he’s just a selfish jerk.”
