On Tuesday, April 6th, voters within the Mehlville-Oakville community have a great opportunity to generate $35 million for the Mehlville School District. The bond issue, called Proposition S, will help our home town district fund projects to improve student safety and accessibility and deferred maintenance WITHOUT INCREASING TAXES.

That's right, Prop S is a bond issue that will result in ZERO TAX RATE increases.

On Episode 18 of the Show Me South County Podcast I'm joined by Mehlville Superintendent Dr. Chris Gaines and leaders of the Mehlville-Oakville United Committee Abby Riess, Nikki McRae and Rebecca Bahora.

On this episode you'll learn:

How the $35 million generated by Prop S will be usedWhy the current entrances of our schools provide a safety threat to students and faculty Where the $35 million will come fromHow the funds will be distributed to each schoolWhat will happen if Prop S doesn't receive a 57.14% YES vote and failsand more!
