On this episode I’m talking about Applejack, the first spirit that colonist in North America started distilling. Just one problem though, a lot of them didn’t have access to a still for distillation, and during the winter they were definitely having issues with heating anything up. This is the story of how these early colonists found a way to get something stronger then apple cider to sip on during the winter, and you shouldn’t try to recreate this technique at home.
