This week Nat Hurst Head Coach of the Adelaide Lightning joins us.

As a point guard in the league Nat notched up 7 WNBL Championships, and in this episode she shares her first steps as a rookie WNBL Head Coach transitioning from on court general to the ‘big chair’.

Nat shares the importance of open and honest communication within the team as she shapes her coaching style and how much she values input from everyone in the squad, from the bench to the starting five in a collaborative team culture.

We talk about the ‘character building’ start to their gruelling on the road schedule against tough opposition, as well as the building antcipation of their first home game with the support of the team's new owners Pelligra Group.
