Episode 129: We survived WrestleMania 40

Shooters this week you get the dynamic duo that is “Premiere Heat!” That’s right… this is a special Mania reaction show from the two gentlemen who were there live in Philadelphia!

BUT First…. Why AEW? Why? Was it necessary to show the All In footage? Did this make CM Punk or AEW look bad? Did it do anything for the supposed storyline with the Young Bucks and FTR? Will we look back on this as the start of AEW’s epic fall?? Only time will tell!

Now for the main event! Joey K and Da Hot One take you behind a crazy 96 hour WRESTLEMANIA weekend!

We started at WWE World on Friday! We hit on the exhibits, Pat MacAfee, the tattoo area and the enterance simulator where Joey K did his best Razor Ramon impression! We did go scrounging for merch in the Mania Super Store and man was that an experience! We wrap up World with a crazy Uber experience, which would end up being the first of two Uber nightmares!

Now for Mania night 1! We give a few updates on the show itself. The pops and the differences between the live show and the aired show. The crowd was definitely louder in person and listen for our recap on who actually was cheered or booed on night one! While we did have fun, our Uber troubles would come back in spades! Listen to the story on how I thought we were going to end up in a Philly ditch!

Now beaten and tired we recap night 2. We talk about finishing the story, crowd pops, merch runs and Joey K calling that surprise Cash In! Joey hits on how Cody losing at mania 39 made mania 40 that more special and I couldn’t agree more! We talk nostalgia and how the ending to the story was great storytelling.

We started to run long so we breifly hit on Raw and the new era in the WWE! We talked the need to stop expecting big suprises and being greatful for what we have and the complex stories that are being told. Also couple that with great in ring action, and we cannot complain about a full weekend of great wrestling with even greater company!
