Episode 126: Shootin Sports

The boys start the show with a week late farewell to The Icon, Sting! Did you like Stings final match? Were there too many spots? Was it unsafe?

We shoot straight into the WrestleTok question of the week. WWE Alumni, Al Snow, said on his podcast thats it’s a matter of when not if someone is going to die in a AEW ring. Do you agree? Who’s to blame for the dangerous spots? Should management be more involved in match planning?

This led to our next AEW topic… We have two new additions to the AEW roster! Okada and Mone have joined and are looking to make a splash. Will either one of them find success? Did they make the right choice signing with AEW?

The Road to WrestleMania continues here where… the WWE has to be listeners! They have taken Joey K’s ideas to the T! We recap Joey’s vision on how night 1 and 2 of mania will go! Will Cody finish the story? What will become of the bloodline? Will there be a new head of the table?

Continuing with Mania, we discuss Sami Zayn’s opportunity to defeat the Ring General, Gunther! Was the right challenger picked? What are they going to do with Gable? Should Sami go over?? What’s next for Gunther?

We break out of the WWE and shoot into random sports talk!!

We start with a very active NFL Free Agency! Well active for The Eagles and Bears! We mix in a little draft talk and general football hazing. Then we transition to the latest must see boxing event of the year… Tyson vs Paul! That’s right Jake Paul will be going one on one versus Iron Mike Tyson! Does Jake stand a chance in the fight? Does Tyson still have that dog in him?! We will find out!

We wrap the episode with some MMA talk! We start with UFC 299 and the stellar performances by Sugar Sean O’Malley, and Dustin Diamond Poirier! Then we transition into some old school UFC talk about vets like Matt Serra, GSP, Jeremy Horn and the Diaz Brothers!
