This week we have a REPLAYYYYYYYYYY. One of our avid listeners said that Apathy in Men was one of his favorite episodes!! Enjoy.

On today's episode the guys talk about Apathy in Men and the biblical response.

Apathy is commonly defined as emotionlessness, or a reduction in both positive and negative emotions. It’s more than just a moments lack of care but rather a pervasive, lasting mood or outlook. Apathy is the disposition of dismissal or reluctance towards a particular idea, person, or group, often experienced as a lack of emotion or interest.

Apathy is not laziness and it’s not reserved to people who are diagnosed with depression. Generally speaking, apathy seems to dig itself into the core of your being and the only feeling your left with is that you don’t feel engaged with life in the same way that you used to be or that your peers are.Meaninglessness

Apathy is disengagement emotionally from a variety of aspects of life; social, family, work, church, which leads to some serious negatives effects in your brain structure and effects your long term mental physical and spiritual health.

Most concerning, apathy can get at the heart of how you think about your relationships and how you care for the people in your life, and even how you care for yourself. Apathy has a snow ball effect that can often start off with, “I don’t care” but easily leads to, “that doesn’t matter”. Apathy can be summarized in one pointed word, “Meh…”
